I first joined Advance Partners in 2004 in the role of General Counsel. Now as Sr. Director and General Manager, I have overall P & L responsibilities, but I've made a big part of my focus a renewed emphasis on consistency and accountability in all that the company does. These are simple concepts that are embedded in everything we do, including how we show up each day and how we get the job done.
It all starts with taking personal ownership and making a personal connection with our internal and external clients, while conducting ourselves with the highest level of integrity. That is what separates Advance Partners from the rest of the pack: we nurture and develop those relationships to help our clients rise to greater heights. Our talented group of people are indispensable to our clients’ success and we tirelessly work to service and partner with them in the best ways that we can, while constantly looking at ways to do it even better.
One of my proudest achievements here is bringing my commitment to the Cleveland Food Bank to the company. I volunteer there as often as I can, so I started asking my teammates if they wanted to join. The team here is already very charitable, and they're always hosting fundraisers and fun events dedicated to local charities, so it didn't surprise me when groups requesting to volunteer there. Before the pandemic, we had a revolving schedule that was always full of people who would spend a few hours there a week, and I'm sure that will continue once we get back to normal.
When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family and following the Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers, Browns, and my alma mater, Indiana Hoosiers.
